Whitney L. Morrissey was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. As a local, she grew up familiar with Hastings & Hastings and the important role the law firm played in the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan community. As such, she is excited to join Hastings & Hastings’ esteemed legal team.
Whitney attended Arizona State University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts. Ever hungry for professional development, she enrolled at Arizona Summit Law School from where she graduated, receiving a Juris Doctor degree in 2014.
She was an energetic and decorated student, working as the Vice-Managing Editor of the Arizona Summit Law Journal. Her diligence, hard work, and attention to detail drove her success. Her many publications include: H.B. 2035: An Amendment to Medical Marijuana, 6 Phoenix L. Rev. No. 3 Ariz. Issue, Legislative Update, 737 (2013) and Obamacare’s Employer-Shared Responsibility Provision: The Impact on Employers and Employees, 7 Phoenix L. Rev. 103 (2014).
