Helen Keller was a pioneer as the first deafblind person to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree. Despite her handicaps, Keller became an author, political activist, and lecturer. She broke physical and social barriers and quickly became a legacy. She is an inspiration to us here at Damsels and we hope to make an impact the same way she did.
