Amarinder Singh, for his comments that “SFJ is an Agent of ISI”, Pakistan’s premier Intelligence Services. Sikhs For Justice had written to Canada Foreign Minister Hon’ble Stephen Dion, in context to Capt. Amarinder Singh’s visit to Canada, to campaign for Punjab Pradesh Congress, to meet the Non Resident Indians, living in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Surrey.
Organizing Committee deputed by Capt. Amarinder Singh’s team and his visiting MLA’s had reserved Banquet Halls, while charging $ 1,000.00 per plate, which indirectly was Fundraising for Punjab Congress, in Canada, a violation of Canadian Foreign Election Laws. Capt. Amarinder Singh fearing legal issues, cancelled his trip and then refused to meet the High Commissioner of Canada in New Delhi. Similarly Aam Admi Party Convenor rescheduled his July trip to Canada. According to Sources in the media, Foreign Affairs in Ottawa has been asked to prepare a report on India Politicians , who come to raise Funds in Canada, while campaigning for Congress, BJP, Akali Dal and Aam Admi Party.
There have been numerous complaints against Radio India and CKYE RED FM 93.1, violating Foreign Election Laws, with Radio India restricted by CRTC on its Air coverage in Canada, cancelling its License of operation.
