Maria Cocoran began her career in full service e-commerce. She began at a company that does e-commerce for the hotel industry and while she was there became curious about search marketing. That side of the business looked like more fun than what she was doing, so she switched over and never looked back. After immersing herself in search marketing, she took a job with Adobe doing search marketing consulting. Just recently, Maria switched over to Adobe.com as their WW Search Marketing Manger. Maria loves her job and has a blast with it.
Her advice for women in business: Don’t be shy. Be assertive. You know more than you give yourself credit for and don’t be afraid to share it with others.
