Karlsbad. On January 1, 2018, Across Systems GmbH will open its crossMarket online portal. With the opening, all freelance translators, language service providers and industry companies can register, regardless of which translation software they are using. This way, all three expert groups will have the opportunity to find translation partners, projects and clients. Currently, there are already 13,000 members from more than 98 countries registered on crossMarket.
The opening to all will allow the entire platform to grow. This way, companies can search more specifically for the appropriate freelance translators and language service providers (LSPs).
With the opening up of the online portal, they will find not only Across experts, but also the right partners for their projects. Via the job board, companies can post translation jobs and make direct contact with interested translators. “The large pool of translators will create many new contact possibilities for companies that need translations,” says Tanja Wendling, Head of Marketing at Across Systems.
This is how Across Systems GmbH will initiate project placement. Companies will profit from better contact opportunities and communication channels and therefore have the chance to expand their supplier network.
