By Sarah

GINA’s data analysis technology presents unique customization method

Reston, Virginia – 5 January, 2017

GTA (Global Technology Associates), a leading independent provider of software products, engineering and business consulting services and solutions to the telecommunications and IT industries, is pleased to announce that the U.S. Patent Office recently issued Patent No. 9,491,569 for GTA’s proprietary Geo Intelligent Network Analytics software platform, also known as GINA®. This is the second patent issued for the technology developed by GTA’s Software Applications and Tools Group.

GINA software platform is a fully integrated suite of modules for big data applications. Currently, GINA provides a multitude of wireless network management and optimization modules and solutions by improving network performance, increasing operational efficiency, maximizing customer experience and revenue assurance to key areas of mobile operators’ network and business. The recent patent was granted for GINA’s data analysis technology, specifically on the method to assist with customization and efficient data analysis of big data. This patent allows GINA to customize a complete solution for each customer’s needs without requiring any large scale modifications to the underlying code.

“We recognized that in today’s world data analysis solutions require a wide range of flexible choices at the time of deployment. We wanted to develop a software solution with the strategy of providing more choices at the time of deployment,” said GTA’s CEO, Dee Alipanah.

This strategy resulted in GINA’s unique data analysis technology. The patented technology offers extended flexibility to the GINA software platform and its various modules and provides for the level of customization to be selected at the time of implementation to include central, localized, distributed and cloud architectures. Hence, it enables the user to have an additional degree of flexibility for appropriate user response times on data analysis and visualization. Homogenizing the expected data-harvest yields for a wide range of data sets and including it at the development time equips the GINA platform with an edge to develop efficient and cost effective solutions that solve each customer’s unique network needs.

GINA’s data analysis technology supports 4G LTE wireless networks, in addition to legacy 2G and 3G networks, and has already produced great results for GTA’s Tier 1 US customers. “Our clients need solutions for their specific network issues that are not addressed with current market solutions. They expect us to provide them with innovative and cost effective technology”, stated Aman Udani, GTA’s COO. “With GINA’s exclusive technology we are able to reduce the cost and time of customization necessary to solve a variety of network problems.”
