London’s music mysterioso Jupiter In Velvet will release a new single called Rule Your Day worldwide on the Free 2B Free Record Label on June 24th. Rule Your Day will be the first single to be released from Jupiter In Velvet’s upcoming 5th album entitled ‘The One In The Many’, which is due out in September. Rule Your Day presents a stunningly fresh sound pared with a charismatic vocal, an urgent energy and self-emancipatory lyrics. It is a delightful sonic concoction that is nearly impossible to resist.

Rule Your Day grabs you right out of the gate and doesn’t let go of its ecstatic grip for a second of its 3 and a half minute duration. While the very unusual guitar sound Jupiter uses gives this song a bit of a psychedelic feel, the energy is more alternative rock with too much caffeine. However… listen to the words. Jupiter In Velvet is a UK/US musician. Born in the USA, a journeyman of many shores, he found roots in the UK, the home of his ancestors. His last release ‘The World Didn’t Start With U’ received heavy airplay and fanfare around the globe. His four electrifying performances at the recent 2016 SXSW in Austin, Texas created a festival buzz. Jupiter followed that up with stunning performances to standing room only crowds at the International Pop Overthrow Music Festivals in Chicago and Detroit in April. Jupiter In Velvet started this journey as a PhD student in finance who became disenchanted with his career path and suddenly left it all to follow his musical heart. Originally from the USA, Jupiter transplanted to the UK for a spell where he put together his sound that he calls ‘Electro Dance Rock’. Drawing upon a plethora of influences across generations, his stylistic instincts draw him into Alt-Rock, Punk, Pop, Hard Rock, Psychedelic and Glam. Presently, his music is heard in over 65 countries across 6 continents and he has been #1 on the Reverbnation rock charts for both the UK and London for most of the past three years.
