With the nonstop media coverage, it can be forgotten that Donald Trump has only just secured the GOP nomination and has not been elected President, yet. However, the circumstances surrounding this wild election campaign have created the perfect storm leading to Mr. Trump becoming the next President of the United States.
As the Democrats deal with Hillary Clinton’s potential indictment and Bernie Sanders’ with his violent #NeverTrump supporters as they move ever closer to the convention in August, Trump is solidifying the GOP a little more every day.
The Republican party has tried everything possible to derail Trump’s campaign. First, with establishment candidates who were early on predicted to rout Trump’s campaign and take the GOP lead. When that effort began to fail, they called on previous presidential candidate and establishment cast member, Mitt Romney. Another establishment derailing effort failed and Mr. Trump has forged through, securing the necessary 1239 delegates and the Republican nomination. The business mogul is getting closer and closer to moving from his New York Trump Tower to the White House. Some have compared his wife, and possible future First Lady, Melania Trump, to the graceful and elegant Mrs. Jacqueline Kennedy Onasis. PolitaMax predicted Donald Trump successfully securing the GOP nomination some time ago.
Republican presidential candidate and Florida Senator, Marco Rubio, stepped out of the race in March after losing his home state to Donald Trump and has stated that he will resign his senate seat, potentially for a run as Florida governor. If Senator Rubio has future plans for the Presidency, a hope to be Trump’s running mate is precisely what’s needed. Eight years in the Vice Presidential seat would groom him well for the top seat.
Does the Donald Trump camp feel that Rubio, with his Hispanic support could bring enough value to the ticket? That has not been made clear or public yet. PolitaMax feels the consideration could ultimately prove well for Rubio and we believe the ticket of Trump/Rubio will succeed.
