CrowdRiff to Launch Hotel and Resort Software Product at HITEC 2016

By Sarah

TORONTO, ON, May 31, 2016 – CrowdRiff is a visual influence platform that enables travel and hotel companies to find the best images and videos on social media, then use this content for the brand’s marketing needs. Seamlessly integrating with any digital channel including a property’s website, the software harnesses the power of authentic, user-generated visual content to make a brand the authority on its local area and drive engagement.

CrowdRiff is already a tremendous success for DMOs and CVBs, in use by over 100 destinations across North America, the Caribbean and Australia – including Destination Canada, Nassau Paradise Island, Tourism Colorado, Travel Portland and Destination New South Wales.

With over two years of experience working closely with destinations, CrowdRiff is confident that its new product will meet the specific needs of hotel and resort properties.

The official unveiling will be at HITEC 2016, the world’s largest hospitality technology tradeshow, held this year in New Orleans, LA, from June 20th to 23th. This is the first time CrowdRiff will exhibit at HITEC, and it will be an exceptional opportunity to demonstrate how the platform leverages social media to increase purchase consideration.

CrowdRiff works by searching and compiling all visual content related to a specific topics, keywords and locations from social networks like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter into one cloud-based collection. From there, hoteliers can choose the best photos or videos to display in any marketing channel to add an authentic view of their property and region to potential guests.

CrowdRiff’s display system abides by every social network’s photo-sharing rules so hoteliers can safely integrate this content into their websites. However, should a hotel want to leverage the social content in advertising, they can effortlessly secure rights to social content with the built-in rights management system.

“We’re thrilled to be working with hotels and resorts where there is unquestionably a need for dynamic visuals that tell real stories,” said Dan Holowack, CEO of CrowdRiff. “It’s now commonplace for travellers to seek out authentic photos on social channels to see what a property and area have to offer before booking. CrowdRiff integrates the best visuals shared on social media onto your website so guests don’t have to look anywhere else. Your website is instantly more captivating and guest friendly without the need to purchase photos, hire models or plan photo shoots.”

In addition to the official launch at HITEC 2016, CrowdRiff is already in the final stages of completing several hotel installations.
