WHY AMERICA NEEDS PRESIDENT TRUMP

Running for President is no easy task. Your whole life is put under a microscope. All your skeletons come dancing out of the closet like a Grateful Dead concert. Everything you say and do is fair game for public scrutiny. Up until now, however, other than a few statements taken out of context, there has been very little dirt on Donald Trump. His whole family is clean as a whistle. Yet, the media and the political establishment continue to try and make Donald Trump look like a buffoon. However, very few people really know how much Donald Trump has really accomplished.
First, Donald Trump was not the heir apparent to his father’s business. Donald had an older brother who would have been the first chosen to run Fred Trump’s business. Donald had to prove himself to his father who came from nothing. Fred Trump, the father to the Donald, started in the construction business as a boy. In New Jersey, they needed boys to help pull the construction material up the hills when the snow and ice on the ground prevented the horses from being able to pull the material. Sometime after, Fred learned how to read blueprints and from nothing built a business worth somewhere between 40 and 50 million dollars.
To earn his father’s respect, Donald accomplished what many business students dream of; Donald earned his MBA from the Wharton School of Business. Unlike Harvard or Yale, where family connections may play a role in admissions, the Wharton School of Business is a merit based institution. Working with his father in the summer while going to school and after graduation, Donald Trump earned his father’s respect.
Fred Trump built an impressive business and he certainly taught Donald his craft. However, Donald Trump took his father’s business to a whole new level. Donald Trump took a business worth around 40 to 50 million dollars and transformed his business into a billion dollar empire. Granted there have been some bumps in the road along the way, such as Chapter 11 reorginizations and hardball negotiations with the banks. However, how many people can say they have built as much as Donald Trump.
Donald Trump is a builder. Donald Trump has a lifetime of experience in building not only residential and commercial buildings, but also in building businesses. The federal government is a business. Interest groups hire lobbyists to shape the laws to achieve their objectives. However, there is little accountability in the federal government. While people sleep homeless on the streets from New York City, New York to Honolulu, Hawaii, the federal government gives away billions of dollars without accountability.
President Donald Trump will change the status quo. President Donald Trump will do exactly what businessman Donald Trump has done throughout his whole career; Donald Trump will hire the best people for the job, irrespective of politics. When Donald Trump sees first-hand how our government spends money with no accountability, he is going to shine a huge spotlight on it and he is going to make a huge stink about it. This will be the beginning of a new era in governance. This will be what America needs most; logic and government accountability. This is why America needs President Donald Trump.
