Global security industry leader, Gallagher, cemented its reputation for innovation with two Platinum Govies at the Government Security Awards held during the ISC West Expo in Las Vegas today.
This is the fourth year running Gallagher has been honored at the Govies for its outstanding contribution to government security products. Having already received awards in a variety of categories since 2013, this year the company added a double Platinum in the Mobile Apps and Outdoor Perimeter Protection categories.
The Govies awards are decided by an independent panel of judges. The panel selects the top entries from each category using a range of criteria including innovation, user friendliness, quality, design, impact in the security industry, technical advances and scalability.
The prestigious Platinum award in Outdoor Perimeter Protection went to the Gallagher F3 Fence Controller. Billed as the next generation in high-performance electric fence control, the F3 Fence Controller impressed the judges with its superior reliability and innovation in electric fence management. With features including an intuitive user interface, the ability to configure dual pulse zones using Gallagher’s patented dual pulse technology, and pulse synchronization for multiple controllers and fences, the F3 Fence Controller was the stand out in its category.
The judges were also impressed by Gallagher’s Mobile Application, adding a second Platinum award to Gallagher’s trophy case. The new user-friendly Gallagher Mobile Reader, shone in the mobile app category with its innovative approach to security. The addition of the Gallagher Mobile Reader is a game-changer, as it enables security personnel to verify the legitimacy of a cardholder’s presence on the spot. Supported by Apple iPhone iOS, the mobile app maximizes the productivity of security personnel and business owners, by providing them with the flexibility to monitor their system from any location, allowing greater presence and situational awareness.
