With over one million downloads a day, Color Switch is the worlds most downloaded app. It was number 1 on the App Store charts for a world record 25 days until Kanye West asked his 19 million twitter fans to download his music app Tidal 48 hours ago. Tidal then went to number 1 but it has been replaced again within 2 days by Color Switch which is topping the App charts all over the world.
Like Angry Birds and then Flappy Bird the new Color Switch app is compulsive playing for people of all ages, shapes and sizes! Even the NFL app during the Super Bowl couldn’t topple Color Switch from its No.1 perch.
Color blind Californian app inventor David Reichelt, 36, is a former medic in the US Army in Iraq who came up with the idea of carefully tapping a ball that changes colors through moving circles, squares, triangles and other obstacles which also change colors. “It’s amazing to have Color Switch going head to head with such a big star like Kanye West at the top of the App store. I’m extremely humbled to think that Color Switch can be talked about in the same sentence as such a great artist as Kanye and his new album The Life of Pablo. I hope Kanye downloads Color Switch.” says inventor David Reichelt.
Twitter users worldwide are continually talking about the Color Switch game and many have been posting videos of mobile phones smashed with frustration and people fighting each other. Over 300 million video views have been notched up already, with 10 million more views added daily.
