The distinguished panel of four discussed “Family Offices: Bridging the Funding Gap” The panel included the following: a) George Matayeo, Sr. Director of Investments, Cleveland Clinic; b) Richard Clark, EVP, Secretary & Trustee, John P. At the Cavendish Global Health Impact Forum which was going on simultaneously, Dr. Shaya moderated a panel on “Digitizing Healthcare and Democratizing Data.”   The panelists included the following: a) Robert London, M.D., Medical Director Well Care; b) Michael Wiemann, M.D., President of Providence Hospital; c) David Gutelius, Founder of the Data Guild; d) Slava Akmaev, Chief Analytics Officer, Berg Health and Head of Analytics. Dr Shaya noted “only 61 Fortune 500 Companies that existed in 1955 are around today. The average life expectancy of a Fortune 500 company used to be 75 years. Today the average is 15 years and declining every day. Companies will need to innovate and constantly reinvent themselves. The leveraging of data and information will be integral to this constant transformation and no greater opportunity exists than in health care.”
