Allison was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She left home in 2003 to attend Haverford College in Pennsylvania where she graduated last year with a degree in Sociology. Upon graduation, she was awarded a fellowship by Haverford to spend a year living in Philadelphia where she currently coordinates a leadership training program for teenagers at an art based nonprofit.
